  • Do special taxes apply on top of the base property tax?
  • How does the loan amount compare with the Alameda County conforming limit?
Dublin FAQ

Dublin home loan questions.

Why does the HOA matter for my loan?

For condos and many townhomes, lenders review the HOA's budget, reserves, litigation and owner-occupancy mix. A project that does not meet a program's rules may not be eligible for that loan type.

Do HOA dues count against my qualifying income?

Yes. Dues are included in your monthly housing payment when lenders calculate your debt-to-income ratio, so higher dues can lower the loan amount you qualify for.

Does the quiz affect my credit?

No. The quiz and calculator do not involve a credit check, and you are not obligated to apply.
